A wonderful architectural bench in solid oak. Europe, mid 20th century.
Highly simple in design, but very strong visually this mid century bench - or low console table - in solid oak is a timeless and architectural piece of furniture. Very honest and straightforward with a lot of craftsmanship in full sight. The construction details and visible joinery are just great.
Added on top of that this bench shows a great patina from years and years of use. There are spots, marks, stains and colorful paint marks visible throughout the piece, which gives it just something extra.
Great as a bench, bus also very usable as a low console table.
