This is a very elegant yet understated 1930s table lamp by KMD Daalderop, The Netherlands.
It is just a very simple design with a base, rounded stem and a bell shaped articulating shade on top. But the proportions are all very well chosen, making this a truly wonderful lamp. Timeless and without ornamentation. The desirable and warm patina on the brass only adds to the charm.
Comes in a good condition with a dent in the base and some wear due to age and use.
