A beautiful mid century vase in ‘Scavo’ Murano glass, attributed to Murano glass house Cenedese. Italy, 1960s.
Great design in red and green ‘scavo’ glass. 'Scavo' literally means 'excavated' and what was intended with this method of glass processing is to achieve a result that resembles excavated centuries-old glass that comes out of the ground during an ancient excavation.
A timeless and very elegant mid century Italian piece of glass art.
Comes in a good and original condition with one small and minor chip - as pictured.
Dimensions: W. 11 x D. 10 x H. 31 cm
