This modest and elegant Neoclassical table lamp makes a wonderful addition to any modern or contemporary interior. It is cast in one piece, made in nickel plated brass, in Europe 1940s. The lamp has the shape of a classical grale, with a tapered base placed onto a square main base. On both sides of the top a spiral shaped detail can be seen, referring to the Ionic order of classical architecture. A detail that was used more often in Neoclassical objects.
The lamp has an open character and works beautifully as an accent lamp. It is in a nicely aged, good condition. It is originally wired for European use.
