A wonderful early 20th century provincial bench in solid oak. Most probably France, 1910-1940.
Utilitarian of origin, this bench features a modest yet architectural silhouette with two trestle feet and a long plank seat. Features the wood joinery and construction details in full sight. Beautiful patina and wear.
Great piece for a hallway, next to a table or as a low table with some magazines and books.
