Jean Guyaux Studio Pottery Vase Belgium 1960s
A beautiful mid century studio pottery vase by Jean Guyaux. Bouffioulx, Belgium, mid 20th century.
One of the best vases we’ve seen from the pottery village of Bouffioulx, the ‘grès’ centre of Belgium. The free and asymmetrical flame-like decor of this piece is stunning and highly attractive. Color wise, this is also one of the best examples with a nice contrast between the green, red, blue, purple and the (cream) whites.
A gem.
Comes in a very good condition. Signed J. Guyaux, Bouffioulx.
Dimensions: W. 12 x D. 12 x H. 27 cm
