SOLD - Large Brutalist Table Lamp in Cast Brass, France 1970s
This large Brutalist table lamp is from France, 1970s. It is well made in cast brass, showing great similarity to the work of Swedish artist Sonja Katzin (1919-2014). It was made with great eye for detail, crafted with notable quality. The base is relatively high and has a tapered shape, giving this piece a very elegant appearance. The sand cast brass base nicely shows the imperfections of the crafting process, featuring smoothly tapered vertical lines.
