This is a very elegant and unusual pair of 1940s floor lamps in metal, bamboo, patinated brass and yellow glass.
They feature slender columns with both patinated brass and bamboo - combining two very desirable materials. The metal elements on these lamps are lacquered in a deep red color, also combining wonderfully with all the other materials and colors used. The glass shades on top are hand blown and show a great hand made quality. This yellow glass lights up wonderfully! This combination of materials makes this pair of floor lamps a rather unusual design and very rare indeed.
Would be great on opposite sides of a sofa, or used separately in a large space.
They come in a good vintage condition with some signs of age and use and a desirable patina on the brass parts - also they are rewired. Please note the red lacquered parts have been repainted at some point.
