Pelleray Paris-Bruxelles Antique Hairdresser Wash Basin in Patinated Brass and Cast Iron.
A very stylish antique - early 20th century - hairdresser wash basin in patinated brass and cast iron by the renowned maker Pelleray from Paris and Brussels.
The wash basin comes in beautiful shiny brass showing a nice patina. A name tag with ‘Pelleray Paris-Bruxelles, Fournitures pour coiffeurs’ is attached to the front. The sculptural base is made in cast iron and also says ‘Paris Bruxelles'. Also, the original black rubber neck rest is still there.
A very attractive and refined artefact from times when ordinary items also were meant to be beautiful. Would be wonderful in a hairdresser shop / barber shop. Or, in a stylish bathroom of course.
Comes in a good condition with some old repairs and a very good patina visible.
