A great set of 4 ‘Razorblade’ chairs in solid oak and wool. Europe, 1960s.
A wonderful set of chairs, this is. Combining mid century elegance with a sturdy and robust appearance, these show exactly what you’d want to see in a mid century set of (dining) chairs. The sculpturally carved backrests show a distinctive ‘razorblade’ design and curve backwards in a very elegant fashion. The chairs resemble works by designer Henning Kjaernulf without looking exactly alike. The beautiful warm colored solid oak combines wonderfully with the (newly upholstered) wool fabric on the seats.
A great set. We like these very much.
The 4 chairs come in a very good condition with newly reupholstered seats.
